Springs, the business is a heartfelt reflection of their shared passion for bringing people together through exceptional cuisine and warm Southern hospitality.

A Military Foundation, A Culinary Passion
Jovan's journey into the culinary arts began long before the establishment of A Taste of Carolina Catering. Raised in a household where resources were limited, Jovan developed his creative cooking skills early, finding joy in transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary meals for his family. His culinary journey took a pivotal turn during his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he became known for his BBQ cookouts, offering his fellow airmen a taste of home and comfort during demanding times.
After leaving the military, Jovan decided to pursue his passion for cooking professionally. He trained at Triad Community Kitchen, where he honed his skills in culinary arts and received recognition for his talent and dedication. His background as a chef in prominent establishments, combined with his experiences cooking for family and friends, provided the foundation for his dream of starting his own catering business.

LaQuisha brought her own unique strengths to the table.
